Cookies Policy
The cookies we set, why they're there, and how you can switch them off whenever you want.
This page explains what cookies are, how 4K Live IPTV uses them on 4kliveiptv.cam, and the choices you've got. For the full picture on personal data, take a look at our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Actually Are
Cookies are tiny text files that a site drops onto your device — phone, laptop, smart TV, whatever you're browsing on. They help the site remember small things about you, like the language you picked or whether you've already accepted the cookie banner. Without them, you'd be starting from scratch on every page.
Some are "session" cookies and disappear the moment you close the tab. Others are "persistent" — they hang around for a set time, or until you wipe them yourself.
2. Why We Use Them
We don't load cookies for fun. Each one has a job:
- Keep the site running properly (essential cookies).
- Remember what you picked in the consent banner.
- See which pages people actually read so we can fix the weak ones (analytics).
- Show you offers that match your interest — but only if you opt in (marketing).
3. The Cookies We Set
Essential Cookies
These are the ones the site can't run without. Turn them off and the pricing toggle, trial form, and mobile menu all break. You can't opt out of essentials — they're the bare minimum.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Remembers your consent choice so the banner doesn't keep popping up | 1 year (localStorage) |
Analytics Cookies
We run Google Analytics so we can see which pages get traffic and where folks drop off. It's all aggregated and anonymised — we can't tie a session back to you personally, and we don't want to.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — separates one visitor from another | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — tracks the current session | 2 years |
Analytics cookies only fire after you click "Accept" on the banner. Skip the banner and they never load.
Marketing Cookies
If you've opted in, we might set a small number of marketing cookies so any ads you see line up with what you actually care about. We don't run ads on this site directly, but if you arrived from one, the referral cookie tells us roughly which campaign worked.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Click through to a payment provider like PayPal or Stripe and you'll land on their site, where they set their own cookies. Same goes for WhatsApp when you tap our chat button. We don't control those — check each provider's own cookie notice for the details.
5. How to Control Cookies
First time you visit, our consent banner asks if you want to allow non-essential cookies. You can flip that decision any time using the steps below.
Reset Your Consent Here
Hit the button to wipe your stored preference. The banner will come back on your next page load so you can pick again.
Manage Cookies in Your Browser
Every modern browser lets you block, delete, or limit cookies from the settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up — blocking everything will break parts of the site. Stick to non-essential if you want it to keep working.
Opt Out of Google Analytics Globally
If you'd rather Google Analytics never tracked you again across the web, grab the official Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. One install and you're done.
6. Your Consent
By clicking "Accept" on our banner you're giving us the green light to set analytics and any opt-in marketing cookies. You can pull that consent back at any moment using the reset button above. Nothing changes for your account or your subscription — the only thing that shifts is what we measure.
7. Changes to This Policy
We'll tweak this page from time to time — usually when the rules change or we add a new tool. When we do, we'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Worth a glance every few months.
8. Contact
Got a question we haven't answered? Drop a note via our contact page and we'll get back within 48 hours, often sooner.
